Location: Brian Booth Craig Studios in Pennsylvania
This intensive sculpture workshop will focus on creating a figure in a dynamic pose. Emphasis will be placed upon the systematic study of proportions, basic anatomy, composition, and gesture. Students will work directly from a model to create a 1/3 scale figure in plastiline over an aluminum wire armature. This course includes a total of six studio days with a live model, six hours per day, daily lunches, evening lectures, demonstrations, and open studio hours.
This course will have a maximum of 10 students to enable greater individual instruction and permit the appropriate 6-foot distancing required by COVID-19 protocols. All students must provide evidence of either COVID-19 vaccination a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the course.
